How RAW Rental handles the personal information you give us through this website, by phone or by email. Last updated 5 November 2026.
Who we are
RAW Rental (ABN 33 771 995 891) hires and sells generators, lighting towers and fuel tanks. In this policy, “we” and “us” means RAW Rental. You can contact us on 0433 161 616 or at [email protected].
What we collect
When you send a quote request, the form asks for:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- your company (optional);
- whether you want to hire or buy, the equipment you need and the hire length;
- your site location and start date (optional); and
- anything you write in the message box (optional).
The form also sends a few technical items used only to stop spam: a hidden field that should stay empty, the time the form was loaded, and the result of the security check described below. If you call or email us, we get whatever you tell us, plus your phone number or email address.
How we use it
We use your details to prepare and reply to your quote, and, if you go ahead, to arrange and manage the hire or sale. We may share them with people who help us prepare your quote or deliver the equipment you ask for, but only what they need for that.
Where it goes
When you press “Send quote request”, the form goes to our website’s server code, which checks it and emails it to our business inbox. Your enquiry is emailed to our team. We send one automatic confirmation email and keep your email address for up to 24 hours only, to avoid sending it twice. The email stays in our inbox as a record of your enquiry. Our inbox is run by an outside email provider.
This website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most hosting services, Cloudflare processes technical details of every visit (such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver and protect the site, and keeps technical logs that help us fix problems. Cloudflare runs a global network, so some of this information may be processed outside Australia.
Security check (Cloudflare Turnstile)
The quote form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It loads from challenges.cloudflare.com and checks signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser details. When you send the form, the check result and your IP address may be sent to Cloudflare to confirm it. Cloudflare explains how it handles this data in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Website statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and how fast pages load. A small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com measures page-load timing. Cloudflare says it does not track individual visitors across other websites.
Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel)
We use the Meta Pixel (from Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram) to measure whether our ads work. It may set cookies and send Meta basic visit details such as the page you viewed, your IP address and browser type. When someone successfully sends a quote request we also record a Lead event. Meta may process this outside Australia, mainly in the United States. You can opt out of Meta ads personalisation in your Facebook ad preferences, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Meta’s own policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Cookies
Our own site code doesn’t set first-party cookies for advertising. The Meta Pixel and Cloudflare’s security check may use their own cookies; see Meta’s policy linked above and Cloudflare’s cookie policy.
How long we keep it
We keep quote emails and hire records for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any hire or sale that follows, and to meet our legal and tax record-keeping obligations.
Your choices
You don’t have to use the form. You can call us instead, and you can leave out the optional fields. If you don’t give us enough to contact you, we can’t reply to your quote.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Call or email us using the details above.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or complaint about how we handle your information, contact us first and we’ll try to sort it out. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
